Paprika, a small pepper native to South America, is widely used in Hungary, where it is found in almost all dishes! It is the perfect seasoning for meat stews, vegetables, soups … Its slightly sweet taste does not hold up very well during cooking. This is why it must be added at the very end of cooking, otherwise it may give a bitter taste. On the health side, it is rich in vitamins (especially C, so we recommend it in winter), and is very effective in cleaning the pores of the skin and unclogging the sinuses. Be careful though, it is not recommended for diabetics.
