What makes fleur de sel so special?
We chose to use this precious sea salt for its delicate texture and its tasty minerality characterized by the salty waters of the Atlantic from which it comes. Fleur de sel is carefully harvested by hand, collecting the top layer of delicate crystals that form when seawater evaporates. This long and laborious process combined with the scarcity of ideal weather conditions for harvesting results in limited production, making it one of the most expensive salts in the world.
