HOW TO COOK IT: RISOTTO, AND MORE!
Boil the Arborio rice for 15-20 minutes, strain it and use it however you like! Boiled rice can be used in the same way as pasta. Add your favorite sauces, from Bolognese to pesto, and serve it! Please note that the ratio for Arborio rice is 2: 1, 1 part rice to 2 parts water (or broth).
Traditionally, Arborio rice was used to make risotto. It should be cooked slowly in a shallow pot for 25-30 minutes, continuously adding lukewarm water or broth. The outer layer of the rice kernel will release the starch for a creamy texture, while the center of the kernel will remain opaque.
