Organic French Lentils are incredibly versatile and delicious dried whole vegetables! Like pasta, French lentils can be cooked in salted boiling water. They cook for approximately 30 minutes (they’re tender, but still a bit crunchy), or until desired consistency. Tender with a mild, earthy taste, they can easily replace meat in meals: they can also be added to salads and soups. They mix and mash well, if you want more texture, thickness and flavor in your recipes. Always have this delicious product in your pantry!

Unlike beans, lentils do not need to be soaked, as they become tender in contact with boiling water. Although rare, small stones can be found among dried lentils. It’s always best to spread your dry lentils out on a large plate to sort them quickly before using them.
